SAMS is supporting recruitment and payroll of multiple vacancies arisen under UNDP supply chain capacity building project based at Odisha, Bihar, Gujarat, Chhattisgarh, Assam, Jharkhand, Nagaland and Manipur.
UNDP has awarded EY the large Electronic Vaccine Intelligence Network (eVIN) Project for Manpower Deployment and Management, for the training of Government Staff working on Cold-Chain and Vaccine Logistics for Universal Immunization Programme (UIP), at the state and district levels, to help State Health Officers adopt innovative changes to the cold chain logistics of vaccines.
UNDP is introducing and expanding the eVIN system to all districts in eight states - Assam, Gujarat, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Orissa, Bihar, Manipur and Nagaland. eVIN is an exciting, ‘breakthrough’ initiative that is expected to improve the availability of quality vaccines to the Universal Immunization Programme (UIP), at the state and district levels. These positions will be integral components of the UNDP project team and work towards contributing to the objectives of the project.
SAMS invite applications for the below mentioned positions
1. Vaccine Logistics & Cold Chain Managers (Vacancies: Gujarat (33), Jharkhand (22), Odisha (30), Bihar (38), Chhattisgarh (30), Assam (32), Nagaland (08) and Manipur (09))
Job: S/he will work in close coordination and supervision of District Immunization Officer and report to UNDP Project Officer- Operations in their respective regions/divisions, the VCCMs shall be responsible for managing programme planning, implementation, capacity building, monitoring and reporting on all eVIN interventions. Eligibility: Applicant must be a graduate, with an additional qualification in Business Administration/ Public Health/ Hospital Management/ Social Science/ Material Management or Supply Chain Management, from a reputed University/ Institution with minimum of three years of professional work experience at the State /District level on implementation projects, in the health sector (Note: Experience in vaccines supply chain and cold chain will be given preference)
2. State Training Leads (Vacancies: Chhattisgarh (01), Jharkhand (01) and Bihar (01))
Job: S/he will be based at State PMO of the representative states and under the overall supervision of the project head, The STL shall be responsible for reporting to Project Head, he/shewill be leading a team of capacity building officers, identifying the training needs and coordinating capacity building activities at the state and district level in special relation to the Electronic Vaccine Intelligence Network (eVIN) system. Eligibility: Applicant must possess Master Degree in Public Health, Health Management, Community/ Social Development, Development Economics, Management and other related field with minimum of 5-7 years of professional work experience at the State level in managing training programmes in the development sector.
3. Training Officers (Vacancies: Gujarat (06), Jharkhand (01), Odisha (05), Bihar (03), Chhattisgarh (02), Nagaland (01), Manipur (01) and Assam (03))
Job: S/he shall be responsible for extending training to approximately 1,000 staff at the state and 14,000 at the district level. Each training shall comprise of two modules: a) eVIN solution software and b) Cold Chain and Vaccine Logistics Management. Eligibility: Applicant must be at least graduate, with an additional qualification in Public Health, Health Management, Community/ Social Development, Development Economics, Management, or related field with minimum one year’ experience of imparting training independently for public health projects is essential.
